Bestie's Birthday Dinner !

This Sunday, I got together with my girlfriends to celebrate one of my best friends birthday. We met up Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen in Brea, CA . I've been to this restaurant before and the ambiance and atmosphere is always really enjoyable. The food is Mexican cuisine and their drinks are amazingly good!

The Birthday Girl, Sofie!

I def recommend their Mexican lemonade!!!

My outfit was casual but yet still stylish and comfortable. I seriously can't stop wearing my leather jacket. Ladies, it was a splurge but I love the fact that it was an investment piece. This is a staple that must be in your closet. You will get great use of it through out the years.

Outfit Details:
Leather Jacket from Blank NYC
Long Sleeve Blouse from Lime N Chili

Fit for Fridays

Fridays at the office are always considered casual Fridays and after a busy week everyone's ready to hit happy hour once the clock strikes 5 pm?! Am I right?????

I created a casual yet appropriate stylish outfit for the office that can be converted into happy hour attire as well.

Take look...

Fit for Fridays

It seems odd that it's Menswear but trust me, this style is in right now. The loose fitting shirts with some jeans and booties for the office and all you need at night is a necklace with some different shoes and you are good to go!

Here are some finds I found...

Casual Button up from T.M. Lewin Jermyn St. London
Navy Gingham Slim Fit Shirt from T.M. Lewin Jermyn St. London
Another option would be wearing a slim fit shirt. These type of shirts are going to make you look more cleaner and not so loose fitting. Just in case you still want to show off those curves.

Do you guys like the idea? I love it and I will post pictures on my Instagram page of the outfit I create for this "Fit for Fridays" post so make sure you follow me!!

Till next time.................... Xoxo

Rainy days in Cali #atlantafalcons

It's been raining so much in Socal and are going crazy with so much water but we definitely need all the water we can get.

In the meantime, I've been enjoying using my beautiful umbrella from Benefit Cosmetics. It so happened that the Atlanta Falcons were playing and they happened to win.

Guess who's going to the Superbowl?! lol

Not a football fan at all but hey, what better chance to wear my t-shirt then when the team is playing.

Until next time................. Xoxo

Schwarzkopf Goodies

This week I received these goodies from Schwarzkopf. I was lucky enough to receive their Biotin Volume Magic Volume Powder, Essence Ultime Omega Repair and some samples of their Omega Repair Shampoo and Conditioner.

I'm excited to try these products out and give you guys a review. I do suffer from damaged hair so I have high regards on this product. Haven't found a product to really work on my hair.

I used this product this morning and let me tell you, once I applied it on my hair I felt it sucked up all the oil I had on my scalp. Felt the volume right away.

Let me know what types of hair products you guys use and maybe I can try them out as well.

Until next time................. Xoxo

Too Faced Event at Work!

This past Saturday we had the honor to host a Too Faced Event at work. This was the launch of the new Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye shadow Palette. I love it when we have brand partnered events because we get to meet new people, and this time it was the Too Faced Pro Squad. They are an amazing group of girls, so inspiring and really down to earth.

They brought pops and goodies for us  and clients to try. It was also a chance for clients to get see the new products and get mini-makeovers using the new products.

Has anyone tried the peach palette? I was able to get it this time around and I can't stop using it.

Too peachy, seriously!!

Until next time............................ Xoxo

Planning Birthday #OOTD

With my birthday coming up in March, I'm already planning where to go and what to wear. This is by far the most important thing on my mind because I love birthdays!!!  I can't help it. Always trying to stay ahead of the game.

I'v been looking for outfit inspirations on some blogs, Instagram, Pinterest and of course online stores. I came across this online store and they seem to have more of my style in clothing which is StyleWe.

I have seen a lot of jumpsuits and Kimonos in a lot of #OOTD. My style has evolved throughout the years and I have always wanted to wear a jumpsuit and this year, I might just have to bite the bullet and go for it. I have a new motto for this year and it is "New Year, New Me". So cliche right, but I am determined to really follow this motto all throughout 2017.

Here are some of my fave pieces that I will be getting to make this dream outfit possible.

This v-neck 3/4 lenght black kimono is one of my favorites. I like the fact that it has a belt around the waist to cinch and make it look fitted. I can also pair it with some black skinny jeans and some nude or black pumps.

This two-piece velvet jumpsuit is giving me life. I love the color and the fabric. Also, it looks really comfortable and so sophisticated. I love it!!

With that said, I need your help. What should I wear? Any input?
Help me decided!

Until next time......... Xoxo

Snow bathing in Big Bear, CA

I finally had a day off yesterday and decided to drive up to Big Bear, CA. We spent the day playing in the snow and exploring the city. The weather was gorgeous. My kids enjoyed it so much, and at this age, is just about making memories for them.

We left the house and hit the freeway a little after 9 am and took us less than two hours. Going up the mountain is always scary because of the elevation and the windy road. I'm always afraid of the kids getting car sick or something but luckily that hasn't happened to us.

My family.

I was able to take some pictures of our family outing. Hope you guys like them.

Snowbathing... the best!!

Loving this picture, thanks to hubby for the photo and idea!

Until next time........ Xoxo

Dupe Vs. Splurge Makeup Sponge Edition

So we all know when it comes to beauty products, we can definitely spend more than what we need but there's also barging shopping. Now, the beauty industry is way different from what it was 5 years ago. A lot of companies are coming out with good affordable products.

In this case, I will be giving you a review on two makeup sponges. We all know THE BEAUTY BLENDER. I came across this product a while ago and I was hesitant to use it because it was a sponge and I didn't think the application was going to look so smooth. I finally gave it a try and wow, I was amazed at how good my foundation looked. It looked nice, airbrushed and dewy. This has now replaced all my foundation brushes and I switch it out for a new one every 3 months.

The next product will be a similar product but from another brand, what we call a dupe. It's the Sephora Collection Airbrush Sponge. I was introduced to this sponge by one of my coworkers. She started using and raving about how good it was and I decided to give it a try. I was actually surprised, the sponge gave me the same results as the beauty blender. It left my skin looking a little bit more dewy and airbrushed. I think the shape has a lot more to do with it but I was happy with the results.

Retail Price $20
Shape: Egg Shape
How to use: Use damp
High definition make-up sponge, non-latex foam

Retail Price $12
Shape: Flat bottom and slanted top
How to use: Use damp
Made out of latex-free material

To recap, I would definitely recommend both products. If you are on a budget, try out the Sephora Collection sponge, if you want to splurge and give the beauty blender a try, go ahead. Both will do the job and I'm sure you won't regret your decision.

Until next time.............................. Xoxo

#sweaterweather

Because it's raining in Southern California, I love the fact that we can finally wear sweats, jackets and boots. I love this weather so much, it seriously is the best!

Here is an #ootd from Tuesday. I live in black, grays and whites, best color palette.

.............and in case you notice, can't stop wearing my new shoes.

Until next time............ Xoxo

So Peachy!!

As if I don't have enough makeup palettes, I just added this little beauty to my collection. I was able to get my hands on the Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette from Too Faced.

I haven't stopped wearing it ever since I bought it. This palette has 18 eye shadows ranging from peachy shades, bronzes and a pop of purple, the shades are matte and of course shimmer. This is the perfect palette all year long! I also heard it smells like peach and taste peachy too (that I haven't tried).

This was definitely one hot item I had to get my hands on.

Until next time.....................Xoxo

Mommy/Daughter Disneyland Dates!

Who doesn't love last minute spontaneous trips?! And what better location than to the Happiest Place on Earth. That's just where my daughter and I went last night.

I arrived home from and early shift and decided to go to Disneyland. We changed and left so quickly to the parks. We ended up meeting with another coworker of mine and it was seriously a really quick Sunday night event.

Follow me on Snapchat: #guadafromsephora :-)

The parks of course were so crowded, but hey it's Disneyland. Who cares?! Went on a couple rides, saw the parade and listened to a group sing by the Pier at Disney's California Adventure. Just making memories with daughter and friends.

Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Until next time................. Xoxo

Underdog lip-stain brand: Sephora Collection

First beauty post of the year and let me tell you this is a good one. So Sephora Collection isn't well known that much, only the people that shop at Sephora know that Sephora has their own makeup line. Well they just came out with new additional lipstain colors and I have to tell you, they are really good quality, super long lasting and let me not forget they are $14 each, compared to $20-25 from other brands.

I already own several shades and added a couple more to my collection, not like I don't have enough, but lipsticks are like shoes, you can never have enough.

Here is what I have and I was also able to swatch the lipsticks.

From Bottom to Top: Shades are in numbers
#7, #14, #24 (new to collection), #4, #13 #23 (new to collection), #3 &  #1(Always Red- which is the perfect shade of red in my opinion).

You can find the new collection here

Till next time...................Xoxo

Black on Black

I love color but for some reason every time I'm shopping black attracts my attention. I can't help it.

Today, I'm living in these Nike leggings and my new Adidas Tubular Defiant in Black. I bought these at the Outlets in Vegas for half the price of what they normally cost. Seriously a steal!!!

 Currently my favorite leggings!

Hope you guys are having a great start to the new year! Let's make 2017 count.

Ugo Rondinone's Seven Magic Mountains Art Installation

While driving to Vegas, we discovered this art installation and didn't know about it so of course I had to google it. It's a two year exhibit outside of Las Vegas. It's seven dayglow totems painted in different bright colors and arranged beautifully on top of each other called Seven Magic Mountains.

Trust me, you won't miss it!! It's a colorful attraction that's worth seeing.

It's a quick pit stop away before arriving to Sin City and make sure you wear a sweater!!

Till next time............Xoxo

I'm back!!!!

Hi Guys!   How is everyone doing? I know I've been MIA for a while. Seriously, with so much going on I wasn't inspired to get on her...
