Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer

I recently just purchased this concealer and decided to add it to my complexion routine this weekend! My makeup looked flawless, specially under my eye area. Sometimes, my concealer creases so I have to be careful of what type of formula I use. 

I decided to use the new Tarte Shape Tape contour concealer in the shade Medium. I applied my foundation as normal, but when it came to the concealer, I highlighted by applying it in the shape of an upside down triangle underneath my eye area. Then used my beauty blender to buff out the concealer and I noticed the other eye and the concealer was already setting in without me blending it. Right away, moved on to the other eye and blended like so. The formula is full coverage and it set pretty quickly. I still went ahead and used the Laura Mercier Translucent powder to set lightly. 

The concealer lasted all day and didn't' crease at all!! Overall, I was amazed at the results and had to share with you guys, because the hype is real. I really recommend using this concealer. Oh... and before I forget, you can only get this concealer at Ulta. It's exclusive to them only.

Kat Von D Voxbox

I was lucky enough to have been sent this Kat Von D Voxbox and couldn't wait to try. This time around I was sent the new Kat Von D Everlasting Lip liner in the shade Lolita for me to try out and review. 

The formula is really velvety, super pigmented and dried quickly but without leaving your lips drying. They still felt hydrated and soft. This shade is a dusty rose with a semi-matte finish. 

I applied this lip liner in the morning and lasted me through breakfast and lunch. After lunch, I did have to reapply because I ate a sandwich and it completely fell off. 

Overall, I was happy with the product and I'm excited to try the other 29 shades she has to offer.

#OOTD: Easter Sunday Edition ft. my daughters

I love getting dressed up and what better day to get all dolled up for than for Easter Sunday. We had a great day yesterday, spent it with family. We had a nice BBQ and a little egg hunt for the kids. 

I was so busy enjoying every minute of it that I didn't take any good pictures throughout the day but I will share the outfits of what my daughters and I wore.

Last night.....

Every night, I have my nighttime routine where I take off my makeup, cleanse my skin and prep my skin for the night by using my go-to skincare products. I try to use a mask every night for different types of concerns, well yesterday I decided to use a sheet mask. I had one in my skincare drawer and it happened to be a Sephora Pearl Face Mask. I placed it on my face and left it on for 15 minutes....... 

15 minutes later, I took it off and it was still a little wet. Rubbed the excess serum on my face and went to bed.

Lately, my lips have been so dry and even around my lips, skin was peeling off. I woke up this morning with nothing on my lips, no dry areas and they felts so soft. I just wanted to tell you that it was this sheet mask that fixed all the dry area. I couldn't believe it. I used this mask because I wanted brightening not knowing it was going to hydrate my lips!! 

So in case you are looking for a hydrating mask for dry skin, this is the one!!!! I'm just amazed because I've been using lip butters and vaseline to hydrate my lips but that wasn't working and not knowing this sheet mask was going to fix the problem, and it did!
