Obsess with Ouai!

I'm normally not a fan of hair products until this brand came along, Ouai Haircare. Once I was introduced to their dry foam shampoo, everything changed from there! This was the very first product I used from Jen Atkin's line. First of all, it took me a while to actually use the product. It was just sitting in my vanity until I remembered I had a dry shampoo. This was not the ordinary dry shampoo everyone thinks of, this product comes in a foam and their clean scent is amazing!!! I applied a nice dollop size on my entire hair and it took away the excess oil I had in my hair and revived it completely.

Then I started seeing more of her products and reading the reviews.  I started using their wave spray and OMG, that's when my obsession grew even more. This is similar to the bumble and bumble surf spray but better. The best results are to use it when your hair is damp and let it dry naturally. You get the best wavy look and with such little effort.  Definitely, makes my fine straight hair look way cooler like if I actually just left the beach.  

Now, currently, I'm using their smooth spray. I apply this before styling my hair for smooth fine hair and thermal control and it builds extreme volume by absorbing the oil from my scalp. 

 Seriously, if you haven't already tried her products, please do so. Start off with one of their smaller kits. This is a perfect trial size kit and perfect for traveling as well. Once you are ready to make the change, buy a fuller size.

Birthday Celebration and OOTD on a Sunday!

I have a close circle and we love to celebrate life celebrations and especially birthdays! Today, we celebrated our close friends birthday and we totally went all out. We made it extra special and focused on every detail as possible. One of our other close friends, hosted it at her house and made it extra special for the birthday girl.

From, the smallest details to the biggest details, we had it covered. The birthday girl loves Unicorns, so we knew the theme from the get-go.

I wore this striped long tee dress with pockets and it was from Shein.com . It was a black and white striped dress with pockets and I paired it with some black pointed high heels to go with it. I loved my look and it was definitely so comfortable specially because it was so windy, I didn't have bother with my outfit.

Seriously, today was extra special and I am so blessed to have shared this day with all my besties.

Breakfast for Lunch!

I love spending time with my husband and since we both had a free day to ourselves, we treated each other for breakfast. We went to this local restaurant in Downtown Santa Ana. I've seen several of my friends posting about it so we decided to give it a try. It's called Cafe Calacas and it seriously was a hit!!! 

We enjoyed a nice breakfast with their signature lattes. The day was beautiful and the company was even more amazing. 

He had the breakfast torta with a cajeta latte... 

 and I had their Belgian waffles with strawberries and their Abuelita latte. 

Although, it was quick and simple, for me, I always make an effort to balance, work, kids and marriage. My husband and I are always working or at school activities and I'm always the one making arrangements for him and I to enjoy either without kids.  It's important to work on your relationship with your significant other, trust me.

Happy Wednesday everyone. 

Just wanted to share with you something that happened yesterday. I woke up the best email ever and it was so surreal. I had to take a moment to soak it all in.

It literally has been the best thing that's happened to me and couldn't be happier. It's something small but hopefully, this is the beginning of many more things to come.

Bring on the Night!

I love outfit posts at night, it's something about the lighting and just the vibe. I wanted to wear this top I scored at my local Buffalo Exchange store. This is a vintage and used clothing store where you can find one of a kind pieces at an affordable price. After I purchase them, I normally take them to the cleaners and I"m good to go. 

I found this top at Buffalo Exchange. It has flared sleeves with a flower print. I love how it fit perfectly, it was meant to come home with me. Jeans are from Vigoss (Nordstrom) and Shoes are from a local boutique store.

Sephora Collection just came out with their new LipStorie Lipsticks. They are full of pigment, and their formula is pretty impressive. They come in three different finishes matte, creme, and metal. They are a fun new way to express life adventures, lifestyle, and memories through a lipstick. 

The two shades I have are:

Ringing in 2018 with Style!

Hi everyone!!! I know I've been MIA but wanted to wish everyone a very Happy New Year. 

I also wanted to share my New Year's Eve outfit and look. I wanted to wear something black and I've had this romper for a long time and was saving it solely for this night. I bought it at Windsor's and paired it with some lace up heels, which were borrowed from my sister's closet. 

My makeup was dramatic and with glitter. You can't see it in the picture but the eyelashes I was wearing had a gold glitter trim, like if it was eyeliner. Also, I contoured a little bit more than usual because I wanted to define my face more than usual. 

We had a very nice evening spent with the family, of course. It was nothing but fun. I always look forward to this night because it's about enjoying your time with your family and just having the time of your life.

With that said, Happy New Year! The best is yet to come!!!!
