Pucker up!

I was able to get my hands on some of her liquid lipsticks and I was amazed at how creamy and super pigmented they are. I've tried them in the past but did hear bad reviews, so I stayed away. Now they have reformulated their formula and they aren't so drying on your lips, super long-lasting and rich in color with a matte finish.

I shared on my Insta-story the swatches.

Erno Laszlo Voxbox

This week, I was sent by +Influenster their Erno Laszlo Voxbox. I was chosen to try this product out and to provide my honest review. I was pretty excited because, one, who doesn't like receiving complimentary products and two, I love trying out skincare products.

I went online to find out a little bit more about the product, this is a two-in-one lifting face mask. You apply right after cleansing your face and leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes and remove with warm water. In an instant, after removing the mask, you will feel your skin firmer and replenished. I'm actually nervous to try but I'm sure I will love it. Can't wait to try it out and provide my feedback to you guys.

Again, thank you +Influenster  and Erno Laszlo for allowing me to be part of this voxbox!!

Until next time............... Xoxo

Fenty Beauty Foundation Review

Today, I will share my review on Fenty Beauty by Rihanna using the Pro Filter Soft Matte Long-wear Foundation. This foundation comes in 40 different shades from neutral, warm and cool undertones. It's a long-wear, full coverage with a matte finish foundation meant for someone that has oily skin. When applied correctly, it almost looks airbrushed and definitely minimizes the appearance of pores. Her collection also includes highlighters, matchsticks, a lip gloss, primer and tools to apply the products with.

Bottle Size 1.08 oz
Price: $34.00
Sold exclusively at Sephora and

I have been hearing the buzz and definitely seen the crowds at Sephora. People waiting to get colored-matched for this foundation, so I decided to take a sample of the foundation to try out myself. I took a sample of shade 300 for medium to tan skin with neutral undertones. I'm still debating if I should try out a lighter shade because they did say the formula would oxidize but I didn't see a drastic change.

So I wore this foundation all weekend long, both Saturday for work and Sunday for an event. The foundation stayed in tacked all throughout the day and I didn't have to use blotting papers at all. I only had to touch up once but it was a slight fluff of a powder brush. I wore it with Benefit's Porefessional Face primer and a radiant moisturizer. By the end of the night, my foundation looked dewy, which wasn't a bad look. I kept getting compliments on how great my foundation and skin looked, which is always a plus. Overall, it is definitely worth the hype. The price point is amazing for such a great product. Rihanna did an amazing job with this collection, and I can't wait to see the holiday collection!!!

Too Faced Cosmetics Peaches and Cream Event

I was invited by our store director to a special event hosted by Too Faced Cosmetics to celebrate the launch of their new peaches and cream collection. It was seriously a fun night. The event was in Huntington Beach, CA this Sunday. Several of my coworkers were there and honestly, it was the greatest night ever!!! We networked with Too Faced Headquarter personnel, brand representatives and other Sephora cast members from Orange County/San Diego region.

The night started with drinks and appetizers, to a lot of picture perfect spots for selfies,  of course. Then we moved on to fun activities and ended the night with goodies from the brand. We were thanked for our hard work and for what we for the brand to be a success.

If you follow me on Snapchat/Instagram you might have already seen several pictures, I was a little picture happy, but of course, it was an event I had to share with my followers!

Matte For Me!

Hi, Guys! Happy Monday.

I wanted to share with you a full-face glam I did this weekend. I've been using the new Too Faced Cosmetics- Just Peachy Velvet Matte Eyeshadow palette nonstop ever since I purchased it. The formula is buttery, soft, pigmented and easy to blend.

Full Details of the products I used:

Becca Champagne Pop Highlight
Benefit Galifornia Blush

Shoe Hunting

What can we not find at Target, seriously?

So recently, I went to Target for one thing (sure, one thing, who believes that??) and came across these mules that look almost exactly like the Gucci Mules and at a better price. Trust me, if I had the money, I would definitely splurge on the Gucci mules but because I'm a bargain shopper I went with the Merona loafers from Target.

Target - Wome's Kona Backless Mule Loafers - Merona $22.99

Gucci- Princetown Leather Flat Mules $650.00

They come in black and look almost identical to the Gucci ones, don't they??? No one will notice (just the savvy fashionistas, of course). I was able to get them in my size and have already worn them to work. They look really chic and are so comfy.

Here is what I paired them with, black slacks and an underlying orange tee. My outfit was effortless but throwing these mules on definitely kicked-up my outfit a notch.

Until next time...... Xoxo

Mask On

Some of you might already know but I love me a good night mask. My daily night routine is to cleanse, moisturize and mask on. I try to use a mask every night, normally a mask for a different skin concern, but not all the time. I'm a mommy of three and time is of the essence so applying a quick mask that doesn't take too much of my time is perfect!

My main skin care concerns are oily skin, reducing the appearance of pores and fine lines and wrinkles. Here are my top three masks that I definitely can't go wrong with:

Why everyone is bananas about this one-step blackhead treatment

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
This mask is perfect for someone that is trying to reduce the appearance of pores, oiliness, acne, and blemishes. You apply a layer and leave in for 15-20 minutes and take off with warm water. I don't use this every night, normally twice a week would be good.

Tata Harper Clarifying Mask
This mask is for blemish prone skin to get your skin back to looking healthier, balanced and clear. You apply a thick layer and leave for 15-20 minutes. They rinse off with warm water. You can use this mask once or twice a week.

Shop Tata Harper’s Clarifying Mask at Sephora. This complexion clearing treatment features an AHA superfruit blend and quartz sand micro crystals.

Sephora Collection Green Tea Sheet Mask
A sheet mask for that nights that don't want to deal with applying or just want a quick fix. You apply the sheet mask for 15 minutes while doing mommy duties (putting kids to bed, reading them a book, or whatever the case may be.) Remove mask and leave the excess product on your skin to penetrate overnight.
Made with green tea extract, Sephora Collection Green Tea Mask is great if you want to mattify, purify, and soothe your skin. It works to absorb excess serum and reduce the appearance of outbreaks.

Remember, this is what works for me and what I like doing. Always, do what works best for you, this is me just sharing my routine and some of my favorite products.

Until next time.............. Xoxo

"Don't let anyone or anything block your shine!"

I know it's been a while since I posted an #OOTD but here are recent pictures of my Saturday's day date with hubby. We went out for drinks and early dinner to El Torito. It's nice to take time off from the kids and enjoy some quality time with the hubby. We rarely get to do that but when we do, I enjoy it to the fullest.

So far, this has been one of my fave outfits this year!

Outfit Details: Dress from Forever 21
Purse: Hoxis - Summer Beach Satchel purchased through
Shoes: G Stage

I received a lot of comments about my purse. I actually found this through Amazon from someone else. I loved it so much, she gave me the link and purchased it on my own. It's so cute and trendy. My fave accessory.

Until next time.......... Xoxo

Birthday Drinks!

Always fun when you get together with family and friends to celebrate a birthday. This weekend, we celebrated one of my closest friend's  birthday. We went out for drinks and it was so much fun!

Top: H&M
Jeans: Cello Jeans
Heals: Black Suede Pumps from G-Stage

The restaurant we went to was Tempo Urban Kitchen in Brea, CA. This place has a really good drink menu and their food is pretty amazing as well. The ambiance is loud, fun and definitely enjoyable . Everyone seemed like they were having fun. I didn't have a chance to take a picture of my food but I had their Salmon and it was so delicious. My husband had their lamb lollipops and were good as well, but I think my plate was better.  They are known for their micheladas, this is a spanish version of a Bloody Mary but in my case, better! I had their "Best Michelada".

Seriously, if you live or know of the Orange County Area, google, Tempo Urban Kitchen and try it out if you have a chance. You won't be disappointed.

With the birthday girl and my husband.

New Lip Products from Bite Beauty!

I was lucky enough to have been sent these new Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Liquified Lipsticks from @Influenster and @Bitebeauty . When I received their email notifying me about this voxbox, I was so excited and in shock!! This is a pretty cool gift to receive from them, for sure.

Disclaimer: "I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes."

In this voxbox, they gifted me with three liquified lipsticks and their line and define lip primer. The shades I received were Demi Glace, Flambe & Eclair. The formula is so rich and creamy and the color pay off is there for sure. They have a satin finish and  will apply better if you use the lip primer first to line your lips then apply the lipstick.

I was able to swatch the colors and I also wore Eclair this weekend! It's the perfect soft rose color, so obsessed with it!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Until next time............. Xoxo

Brunch on a Sunday!

Of course, Sundays are always meant for a couple mimosas. My girlfriends and I were able to arrange a last minute brunch trip to a local restaurant. We are all busy with our own individual schedules and getting together to catch up is always fun and enjoyable.

For me,it is important to get some "me" time. I'm always with my kids and I love that I get to enjoy my family but sometimes, getting together with my girlfriends, isn't bad at all and of course it's a picture overload.

For breakfast I had bottomless mimosas and some french toast. These french toast were amazing. They were topped with fresh berries and powdered sugar!!!

Restaurant: El Amerikano

My brunch Outfit was pretty casual but still cute. I paired this off the shoulder top with some boyfriend jeans.

Top: Forever21
Jeans: Vigoss Jeans (Nordstrom)

L'Oreal Triple Power Voxbox

Once again, I have been sent another voxbox from +Influenster  and I couldn't have been more excited. This time around I received a skincare product from L'Oreal Paris, a moisturizer.

The challenge is to use it for 14 days and review the product. I'm excited to finish this challenge and let you guys know my honest opinion. I'm on my fifth day of using this moisturizer and my skin feels different for sure. I've seen a tad bit results but given it more time. The first couple days my skin reacted to it and had one or two breakouts but that's normal. Your skin is seeing a change and it's adapting to the new product, so don't worry.

I will keep all you posted on this challenge, thank you +Influenster for letting me be part of this. Can't wait!

Until next time............ Xoxo

American Rebel.

So lately, I've been into distressed t-shirts. I actually was super excited when I came across this t-shirt at Buffalo Exchange. I had seen this shirt on the rack and kept going back and forth whether I should buy it or not. I decided to just go for it and purchase it, the price was good and the quality was pretty good too. Just a tip, when buying at a second hand store you really have to inspect the clothes and make sure that it's not so worn out and also, make sure you wash it before using it. Basically, my entire outfit was actually all from Buffalo Exchange, minus the heels.

Not to shabby, right?!

Hope you like the pictures of my weekend #OOTD. Wore this outfit out to dinner with  my besties, and of course, I was the only one not wearing a dress. I went casual but grungy in a sense. Didn't mind it but definitely felt out of place.

Until next time...... Xoxo
