Sip & Shop featuring Model Citizen in Huntington Beach, CA

This past Friday a couple bloggers and I were invited to attend a Sip & Shop at Model Citizen, were we basically enjoyed light refreshments and shopped around this amazing boutique in Huntington Beach, CA. As soon as I entered, I fell in love how organized and trendy everything was. The clothing was organized by colors, each section had a variety of pieces in that same color. This was a cool concept because the color attracted your attention.

We met the owner and the staff, which they were all super lovely and so sweet. They provided us with a beautiful array of cheese, crackers and other little snacks and also some bubbly for us to shop around and enjoy our experience. It was my first time there and I loved it. I didn't know what to get because they had the cutest stuff from a big selection of comfy sleepwear, candles, sugar scrubs and accessories as well.

My picks were some plaid work pants, a candle, and a really cute bracelet. I can't wait to style my new items!!

Until next time................. Xoxo

Fri-Yay!

As you already know, it's Friday. There is something about Friday's that gets everyone going and are extremely happy. Everyone at work is and I get more "Good Mornings" than usual.

Today's post, I wanted to share with you guys my life, how blogging is going and how it's actually motivating some people to get out there and just blog.

When I first started to blog, I was nervous and actually hid my blog from my friends and family because not a lot of people were doing it and I knew I was going to get asked why, and why. I didn't like to talk about it and I was shy to say "I have a blog".

Shoes: GS Love

Now, everyone is doing it and I just decided to focus more on it and create content for you guys. I try to just be me and really share with you guys real stuff, what I'm going through, fashion posts, beauty tips and tricks, my favorite products and actually using this as an outlet, my own personal journal but of course it's public. I want to be real with my readers and that's exactly what I'm doing.

So with that said, yesterday I received a lot of feedback from several friends telling me I've inspired them in so many ways, me......little old me. I don't know how to feel because it's overwhelming to me. I know I like what I do and it's my hobby but to really get those messages, makes me feel happy and like think that I'm doing something good in life. Never did I think, I would inspire someone but it's actually happening. I let all my friends know that I do this for me, I love sharing with you guys and I'm real. I don't like being fake and if I don't like something, I say it. If you want to start a blog, just do it. My tip for you guys it just stay humble and true to yourself. The rest will fall into place.

Thank you for all the continued support and hopefully, I continue to inspire you guys!!

Until next time.............. Xoxo 💓

Currently favorite lip product!

Happy Thursday!!

Today's post I will share my current favorite lip product I can't stop wearing. I bought this product a while back, but every time I wear it, I fall in love with it even more. It's from Anastasia Beverly Hills and it's their Liquid Lipsticks in shade Vintage. It's a rich vibrant berry color that stays on all day and doesn't feel so matte or dry on your lips.

Available at Sephora

So, I wore it this past weekend to work and I kept getting compliments all day through IG because I featured it in my IG stories.

💋
Hope you guys like it! Also, should I be doing makeup tutorials? Do you guys want to know what other products I used?

Until next time............ Xoxo

Foodie Fridays featuring Chunk-N-Chip!

Last week, a member from the Socal Blogger Babes hosted girl's night at her house. She opened up her house to us and invited us over for some Halloween fun. She made a nacho bar and for dessert, we had Chunk-N-Chip. They sponsored dessert, which was pretty amazing!

So what they are is an ice cream sandwich dessert company. The concept is you have your cookie and a selection of ice cream with toppings and you get to make your own creation. Our cookies were a semi-sweet chocolate chip, red velvetsnickerdoodle and oatmeal raisin and the best part was the ice cream. They gave us three pints one of each: Mint ChipPeanut Butter Cup, and Pumpkin Cheesecake. They were all so yummy! You guys have to try them out. They are located in the heart of Santa Ana on 4th Street Market.

Hope you guys like my foodie post!

Until next time................ Xoxo

Time Management - How I do it?

We are closer to the weekend, just one more day and we can say "Let the weekend begin." but for now, Happy Thursday.

In today's post, I will be focusing on time management. How I keep up with my busy schedule and all the other things I do in my life. So, let's get started.

I have three kids, a husband, and a full-time job. I also blog on the side and now that my blog is taking off some people ask me "How do you do it all?"

Dress: Speechless Dress -Rachel Lace Shift Dress

Trust me, it's not easy. I get a lot of help from my husband and family. They are my biggest supporters and help me out with the kids. I also write down everything I have to do on my phone. My phone is like my notebook, journal and scratch piece of paper. I set up reminders, include all the events I plan to attend on my calendar and plan ahead of time. School events, this includes days off, reminders and special school functions. This works for me because it keeps me on track. I feel I have a good with work/life balance. I know certain days when I have to be home and focus on the kids and the weekends are for either work and a couple of hours for shooting content. When shooting content, I keep it local unless I plan on attending an event where I know I can add a couple more hours to scout a location and take pictures. Guys, It's not easy but in the end it's all worth it.

I know it's not the best system but it works for me. Do you guys have any tips or tricks for me that you can share?

Until next time............. Xoxo

The best parts of each season, starting with Fall.

Finally, Fall is here, I know I've said it before but I'm super glad Fall has arrived. Although it doesn't get to cool here in Southern California, it's not scorching hot as it was before during the summer.

In today's post, I'm going to share a couple of my favorite parts of Fall Season and I hope you like them:

  1. Change of whether - we get to experience a crisp evening, which I enjoy.
  2. Pumpkin Spice and everything nice - meaning that you see a lot of products in these scents. My favorite items are candles. I love having a pumpkin spice candle burning or an apple cinnamon spice candle as well. I normally purchase them at our local Bath and Body works!
  3. Chunky Knits- I love wearing them, they are perfect to style and go great over dresses as you see here, jeans or skirts! Can't go wrong!
  4. Fall Decorations - this means changing my living room to Fall decor. I like to change my pillows into Fall colors like a pop of Orange or some burgundy hues. I also buy several real pumpkins and use them for decor in the Living Room and then carve the weekend before Halloween.
  5. Boot Season - another item you cannot wear enough. I have several boots that only come out to play during the Fall season. You can wear your favorite booties with dresses or skinny jeans and they go perfectly fine.

So here are my favorite parts of Fall. Can't wait to hear yours! ❤

Until next time................ Xoxo

Sweater Weather!

Guys, I wanted to show you my new obsession. I recently found this really comfy, oversized sweater from Forever 21 and as soon as I saw it on the rack, I knew it had to come home with me. I love the color block sleeves and the texture.

The weather in Cali this past weekend has been amazing so it was perfect for this sweater to make a debut.

I paired my look like this...

Happy Tuesday, and don't forget to check out my IG. Today's question is What would you tell your younger self?

I would love to know.

Tanaka Farm's Pumpkin Patch Outing

Happy Monday everyone!!!

This past weekend was so much fun. We ended up visiting Tanaka Farm's pumpkin patch in Irvine, CA. This was an event hosted by Socal Blogger Babes and Tanaka Farms. This was definitely our first time visiting their farm and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was definitely crowded for a Sunday afternoon but well worth it. The weather was perfect as well.

We enjoyed their Petting Zoo, which my little one was having it. They had a variety of animals from goats, sheeps, and chickens too. Next, we jumped on to the corn maze. It was fun to wander the maze with my little ones trying to find the end. After, we went on the wagon ride. This was a nice ride around their 30-acre farm. We saw all the pumpkins, the activities they had around the pumpkin patch and their crops too. It was definitely an eye-opener and the golden hour was on point. I treated my girls to a shaved iced treat which was delicious and after we went picking for pumpkins. My daughters were able to each pick their own pumpkin for carving later on this month.

Overall, it was a fun experience and enjoyable if you have kids. They will for sure have fun! I took lots of pictures of course which I will be sharing for sure. Don't forget to check my IG stories for more behind the scene video of our adventures.

Until next time.................. Xoxo

Follow your Dreams!

Happy Hump Day!

We are halfway through the work week and I wanted to jump on here and write a quick blog post about my life update and how it's been with my blogging journey. It's been a whirlwind of fun, stress and great memories. I've had really great experiences and amazing opportunities so far and I can't wait for what's to come but not everything has been dandy. There are times where I get negative feedback or just a plain NO. When I hear that, sometimes I just want to throw in the towel and call it a day but I've come to the conclusion to use that as fuel. Not always are you going to get a YES? It just takes time and growth. Growing your audience and stepping out of your comfort zone (and that for me is huge).

I am really shy and get really uncomfortable in certain situations but that's all mental. If you take a moment to really relax and just say to yourself "You've got this, all is going to be great." That actually works. I know I'm not the right fit for all brands which is okay, just be you and the rest will follow. Also, stay consistent with your blog and your IG. I post every day and I try to engage with my audience, engagement is KEY but overall, just be you.

Here I'm sharing a picture of a photo shoot I did with Speechless Dress. They reached out to me and asked if I would do a shoot with them to model some of their dresses and of course I said yes. Mind you, this was my first big shoot ever. I did my own makeup and selected the dress ahead of time. I was nervous and didn't know what to expect at first. Once we did several shots, I just ran with it and realized, it's just a picture.

Today, I received the photographs, and I am so pleased. I can't be so hard on myself because it was my first one. Now I can put this one behind me, move on and make the next one even better.

So guys, hopefully, this is helpful. I take so much pride in my work and hope this motivates some of you to get out there and follow your dreams!

Until next time............Xoxo

Statement earrings

Happy Monday!
Let's get this week started with positivity and motivation, we need to kill this week and feel accomplished at the end of it, Who's with me?
So with that said, here is my new blog post about statement earrings. How to style them and everything in between.

Here in this outfit, I knew I wanted to wear this black bodysuit and it turned out, it looked good paired with this black pencil skirt, but I didn't want everything to be one color so I turned to my jewelry box and as realized I had some new earrings from Anthill ShopNplay. These were blue tassels earrings with gold hardware. They are super gorgeous and looked so good against my black attire.

When wearing bold earrings you have to make sure, the earrings are the main focus. You can wear a bold patter or bold color but just make sure it doesn't clash with the color of the earrings. I also focused on my hair. Since I knew my hair was up in a bun, I knew perfectly these earrings were going to look good agains the background.

Just remember, wear everything with confidence and your outfit will look more amazing!!!

Until next time......... Xoxo

FALLing into great fashion finds!

Good Morning friends!!
It's finally Friday and I wanted to share with you the new fuzzy cozy sweater I recently scored this past weekend. As soon as I saw this sweater, I knew I had to get it. It's from Haute2Wear and as soon as I saw her clothing rack of items she had, this sweater screamed my name, no joke. lol No but seriously, I was dying to get my hands on it.

I styled this beauty with black jeans, a black cami and to add a different texture and color, I went with these booties from Buffalo Exchange. These are also new to my closet and I loved them from the beginning.

We are all excited Fall season is finally here but for some reason, it still doesn't feel like Fall. Our weather, here in Cali, doesn't change so drastically, it only keeps going up but we will take the cooler weather any day for sure.

Also, don't forget to check out Haute2Wear, she is offering my followers a promo code to use at Checkout, just type FASHIONISTA and you will see a nice surprise. Happy Shopping!!!

Hope you guys like my outfit and how I styled it.

Until next time........................ Xoxo

Fallchella 2018

If you don't know what I'm talking about, you should get in the know now. This weekend I attended an event hosted by Socal Blogger Babes in Orange County. This event was held at Work Well OC and space was unbelievable and the entire event came out so perfect. This was an event you needed to attend if you were or are an influencer. It was your time to get to meet other influencer/bloggers in the Orange County area, networked with brands and shopped.

Everything from the backdrops to the dessert table was perfection. I loved seeing the fashion show. They featured two brands, Haute 2 Wear and Blush Elegance. These two brands had versatile pieces for all shapes and sizes which I love that. I was able to get my hands on a burgundy coat, which I can't wait to show you guys how I styled it!!!

I was able to get together with several bloggers and met new faces which is always a plus. Seriously, you have to put yourself out there and always step out of your comfort zone.

I took a lot of pictures of course and wanted to share my outfit details.

Outfit details:
Dress from Speechless Dresses
Booties from Miss Lola

Until next time....... Xoxo

Hi Guys!   How is everyone doing? I know I've been MIA for a while. Seriously, with so much going on I wasn't inspired to get on her...
