What's on my mind, currently!

Hi Guys!!

Happy Tuesday!!!

So today's post is a little bit more personal because I'm going to share with you guys what's been on my mind lately and what I have been stressing about. So, last weekend we were filming and taking pictures for an event hosted by Blogger Babes Production, so I saw footage of me and I was not happy with what I saw. I've started working out and eating healthy for what it seems like ages but haven't been so hard on myself because that's just me. I want to be able to enjoy what I like eating but in moderation, of course. Well, I kinda fell off the wagon since October of last year. I was tired of doing the same routine and not seeing results, and wasn't motivated. I took a break from working out and really just ate anything and everything that was given to me and now I"m paying for it.

Since then, I  started back up in December. Trying to be consistent with myself. Now, I've joined a challenge and I"m really trying to motivate myself to stay focus. I'm not about losing so much weight, I just want to feel comfortable and happy.

Currently, I don't like how my jeans fit, I don't like how my face looks in pictures and I"m not going to sit and cry about it, I'm going to take action. I've started back to tracking my calories and really focusing on eating healthy and making smarter choices, dessert can wait!

It's going to be hard but my goal is to feel good, mentally and physically all year long, especially because I turn 35 soon! I can't wait!

New product from Makeup Revolution

Hi Guys!

One of my goals for this year was to blog more about beauty. Whether it be beauty products, tips, and tricks or just show you guys what types of products I use. Obviously, I use makeup and I have a fondness for my go-to makeup products but today I wanted to share what I've been wearing lately and I'm actually in love with and this was actually a gift from my bestie. She gifted me this new bottle of foundation from Makeup Revolution. It's the Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation in shade F12.

At first, I was iffy to try but then I decided to give it a go. If you know me, I don't like trying out new products. I normally stick to my go-to products and don't change it up unless it's been discontinued or I get a bad reaction to it. So, I have been wearing this foundation for the past month or so and I'm in love. It's a full-coverage foundation, demi-matte finish and lasts all day. My skin looks flawless and the coverage is definitely there.

Foundation: Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define
Full Coverage Foundation available at Ulta

I want to know who's tried it? And what other brands do you guys think I should try?

Until next time............... Xoxo

Pink it is on this Rainy Wednesday!

Hi Guys!!

Hope you guys are having a great day so far! So today's post is all about looking great in the simplest stuff ever but with confidence. I enjoy taking pictures of my outfits and showcasing what I'm wearing but sometimes I don't always want to get all glammed up. I love wearing casual items but making them stand out and looking not so BASIC.

So today, I'm wearing this bright pink sweater from Shein. I styled it with some jeans and some booties. I wanted this to look stylish but yet comfortable. We all want to stand out in the crowd.

Hope you guys like it and remember to check out SHEIN and use my discount code Q1FELLOWFASHIONISTA15 for an extra 15% off!!!

Until next time................. Xoxo

Screening of #Jugarconfuego hosted by Telemundo Network at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA

Hi Guys!!!!

Happy Tuesday, hope my California readers are staying nice and dry during these past couple days. Super glad we are finally getting some rain by it's hard to get around because Californians don't know how to drive in the rain.... jk but seriously, it's been raining a lot!!

So, yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending a very intimate screening and Q&A of a new series from Telemundo, Jugar Con Fuego. This will premiere on January 22, 2019 (check local listings for actual time). It's a 10 episode series, and we were lucky to see the first episode and let me tell you, I can't wait for the rest of the series to debut. I was sold at how good it is. Some of the cast members were there along with the director and it's was pretty cool to pick their brains and hear some of their stories while filming the series. The event was held at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA. This screening was very intimate with media outlets and bloggers/influencers. We were greeted with a red carpet and were able to have some light appetizers and open bar. These types of events are so special and I feel so blessed when invited.

And we were in the same room as Carlo Ponce and let me tell you, he is so sweet and charismatic. We were trying to take pictures with Carlos and Gaby but it' was impossible.

A special thanks to my #1, she's always down for any event with me. Thank you, Rosie!

My outfit details below:
Coat: SHEIN Leopard Print Faux Fur Coat
(It's from Shein! I mean, it's not your basic coat that's for sure. It's a leopard print coat that is super warm and easy to style.)
Shoes: MissLola

Get your very own coat here, and remember to use my code, Q1FELLOWFASHIONISTA15 at checkout for an extra 15% off!!

Thank you Telemundo and H+M Communications for letting me attend last night's event.

Until next time............... Xoxo

Let's #glowtogether !

Hi Guys,

Happy Wednesday!!

So, today's post is a little bit more personal than normal. As you've seen, I normally show my OOTDs and talk about beauty products and what not but today, let's be real, I'm human and I've gone through some stuff growing up. Believe it or no, I've always been private about my life, and not a lot of people know about this but now that I have two daughters, I want to be a role model. I know if I speak up and talk about my issues growing up, they will be more comfortable talking to me about any issues and topics.

Dress: Shein

So let's get started, when I was younger, I was bullied. I was in 4th grade and we had several girls in my school bully me. Back then, I didn't know what that was. They would call me names, would want to fight me, or just ridiculed me. I always questioned and asked myself why? Till this day, I don't know why they did it but they were really mean to me. I hated it so much but never mentioned it to my parents. I was scared and afraid to speak up. I kept it to myself and have always been quiet about this topic. But now that I have two beautiful daughters, I want them to know that they can trust me and can talk to me if they are ever going through any issues like this at school and teaching my kids that this behavior is not acceptable.

So when I was asked to be part of this #glowtogether campaign, I knew I had to be a part of this. My friend reached out and said she was starting a movement and if I wanted to be part of it, and guess what I joined. This is basically where we leave all the negativity behind and encourage one another. We are all beautiful and can succeed all at once. When women empower each other, more great good comes out of it. As you know, social media can be vicious but with this movement, we can make a change.

Thank you for letting me share my story and for glowing together. If you want to be a part of this movement, please check out her site here.

Special thanks to Crystal, for letting me be part of this and believing in me!

Lady in Red

Hi guys!!

We made it to Friday! This week has been rough for me, with the kids still on vacation and me heading back to work, it's been a struggle, let me tell you.

Today's post has me feeling some type of way. I love wearing this color whether on the lips or in clothing. Red makes me feel fierce, bold and courageous. This dress hands-down legit has an attitude vibe. Of course, it's from Shein. The detail on the sleeves is so cute and flirty and the fit is perfect. It's tighter at the top and flowy at the bottom. Super comfortable and perfect for Valentine's day.
Don't you think?
I'm wearing a size Medium
(search ID 426953)

What color makes you feel empowered?
