Mommy/Daughter Movie Date!

I'm definitely enjoying every minute of my staycation. These past couple days, I've been taking it all in and been sleeping in. Today, it doesn't feel like a Monday, which I haven't had this feeling in a while.

Well with that said, I actually had time to enjoy it with my kids. I took my middle child, to go see Sing the Movie. It was a mommy/daughter date and she enjoyed every minute of it. This movie is so cute and I caught myself singing along to the songs. I definitely recommend it.

Next stop, Vegas!!!!

I love wearing my pink bomber jacket. Because it's pink, I normally like this to be the center of attention. I paired my jacket with some black skinny jeans, a white tank top and of course my black booties from Walmart.com.

New Hair Products~

So over the weekend I received a complimentary  #voxbox from +Influenster for review. This time around it was to test out hair products. I normally don't focus on hair products because my hair is so fine and straight that it doesn't accept a lot of products. I hate it but for some reason this time around I was surprised. 

I ended up trying them out last night. I showered and used the L'Oreal EverPure Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. I was really excited to try them out because I love volume, a lot of volume. I used very little conditioner but a good amount of shampoo. After the shower, I brushed it and left it to air dry and went to bed. This morning I woke up with extra volume and blow dried it to give me an extra ummfff. 

I styled my hair, like normal and I can't believe the results. My hair feels so soft and the volume is amazing. This was my first try using this product and by far I love the results!!!

Just a little extra touch................

What to do to a simple basic outfit, well let me tell you. You can add some extra fluff to your outfit and voila. You have stepped your game up to a real FASHIONISTA!!! 

I love the basic tee and jeans look, but my friends, they don't call me a fashionista for nothing. Sometimes a little fluff can take your outfit to a whole new level. I'm inspired by some of these outfits. I have a fur coat at home that I've been wanting to wear for the past couple weeks, and now that I've been inspired, watch out for an #OOTD, soon!

Sunday's best #OOTD

Because fall is here, I had to dust off these pair of thigh high knee boots. I paired them with some black skinny jeans, a white sweater with a green scarf necklace (this was a gift from my mother in law). 

My makeup was simple brown smokey eye with a nude lip.

Weekend Vibes

My Saturday night consisted of hanging out with my sister and her friends. It brought me back to my good old days of hanging out with my girlfriends. It was actually so much fun!

Monogrammed goodies

When it comes to gift giving, I always like personalized gifts. I'm thoughtful when it comes to giving the person the correct gift and making sure the gift is something they will love and use. 

For example coffee cups, jewelry, maybe a key chain. Anything that will remind that person who gave them that gift, and it will bring a special touch.

#OOTD, Christmas Card Edition

Over the weekend my family and I decided to take holiday pictures. We needed new family photos and one of my best friend offered to take pictures of us and of course I said yes!! There is no better excuse to get all dolled up than for a photo shoot. 

I'm so blessed to have friends like this around my life.

I styled all the kids outfits and wanted to keep it casual and simple. The color scheme was neutrals with a pop of color and of course that was my little one, Ellie. She refused to take pictures but overall they turned out so nice.We decided for a nature shot just because we knew it was going to be a gorgeous sunny day and we had to take advantage of the weather. 

Girls skirt and blouse were from Cat & Jack for Target (on clearance) 

and the boys sweatshirt was from Target as well.
