Weekend Getaway

I love family trips! We decided to getaway for a couple days, so we drove down to San Diego/Carlsbad area and spent quality time with the hubby and kids.  It was a much needed quick vacation and the weather was perfect. Although, traffic sucked and took us a little while to get there, it didn't matter. 

We took the kids to Legoland and the Sealife Aquarium, they had to much fun!

 Of course we did a little bit of sightseeing and of course some shopping.

This is what brings me happiness, my kids enjoying the time with us!



Overall this weekend was great, went by fast, but it was well worth it!

Instant Manicure, sure why not?!

I was excited and tempted to try this look for a while and I finally bought my very first pack from Forever21, Love & Beauty line.  This was the only print I saw and it was more affordable then the Sally Hansen Salon Effects.

The final outcome.

Overall, I liked the outcome but it was to much work for me.  The stickers only lasted awhile before they started to chip.  Remember I'm a mommy, so my duties consists of playing with kids, washing, cleaning and doing laundry, and once I started doing some of these tasks, that's when they started to chip.  I didn't last the whole day with them.  I'm glad they were only a few bucks because for me it was money not well spent.

Another milestone.....

Last night my son lost his very first tooth?!

I know this isn't big news for some of you and might not even care about this but for me, it means everything.   I cherish these moments so much.  He's my little boy and for this to happen, it means he's growing up!!!

I explained the concept of the tooth fairy, which he was so excited to go to sleep...

Hairstyle of the Day

Aren't you glad it's Friday??? I am....I'm so ready for the weekend and to be able to sleep in late for two days!!! :-)

For today's post, I wanted to share with you my current obsession. I'm in love with this look.  It's a little out of my comfort zone but I was willing to try it out and actually decided to wear it for work. 

I'm talking about the headbands....all the stars are doing it and I decided to try it out. It's seriously my latest obsession, no joke.  I bought a set of three headbands at Forever 21...they were so cheap too.  That was my main concern, I like trying out new things but not spending so much money on the items needed because if you don't like it, then that's just money down the drain.

Here is my version...I love the color of the headband.
