Angels Spring Training 2017 in Tempe, AZ - Weekend Getaway

So because we are huge Angels Baseball fans we decided to hit the road and visit them in Tempe, AZ to watch a couple games during spring training. This was our second year doing this and my kids love it especially my boy. He's a huge baseball fan and loves the game. 

We left California this past Friday and arrived safely in Tempe, AZ on Friday Morning. Checked into our hotel and met up with a cousin for lunch. The Arizona weather was great, wasn't hot at all, it was just perfect. 

Our first game was going to be in the evening so we had plenty of time to rest up and change into our baseball gear. They won that night which was perfect. Second day was Saturday afternoon and this was our first experience in the lawn area. We liked it but not a fan of the grass area. Although my son did enjoy it because during the angels hitting warm ups, he was able to catch some home run hits. 

Overall, this weekend was great! We loved every piece of it and it's all about making memories.

Wish list........

As you all know, I'm also a beauty junkie. I love trying out new products and also splurging. I can never have enough makeup. Currently right now, I've been seeing hearing a lot of great things for new and old products that are in the market and wanted to share.... 

1. Tarte Shapetape Concealer: I've seen and heard the reviews on Instagram and Youtubers raving about this product. Although, I have so many concealers, I still have to try this out! 

2. Ole Henriksen Oil Control Cleanser: I have oily skin and I'm always looking for products to reduce or help me with my skin type and because this also helps with pores, I am so down to try. 

3. Mario Badescu Drying Lotion: This I've seen this out for a while but haven't had a chance to get it. I don't break out that much but when I do, I would like to have this product come in handy at those times. 

4. Too Faced Natural Love Eyeshadow Palette: As if I don't have a lot of eye shadow palettes already, I need this one in my collection. I'm a fan of this brand and anything they come out with is always good. Can't wait to get this one. 

I can go on and on with my wish list but I'm sure we all have that problem that we have other priorities and not just makeup. If anyone else has tried any of these products out let me know. Would love to hear reviews...

New Beauty Find Friday....

Not sure why I haven't tried this item out but I finally did and I was amazed at results. I'm part of the Sephora Beauty Insider Program and currently right now, this item is a perk, where you can redeem your points for a beauty deluxe sample. 

I decided to give it a try. This Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay changed my whole life. I applied it at night after I took off my makeup, left it on for 10 minutes and washed it off with warm water. I continued with my nighttime routine.... the difference was the morning after. My skin, no lie, felted really soft, not oily at all, and really smooth. 

I was definitely amazed and that day I kept getting compliments of how my skin looked so good. Weird, right. I'm in love! If you haven't already tried it , you should! I'm a big fan of masks and use one daily and trust me this review is not sponsored, although I wish it would!

Because I wasn't so excited to turn 33, I wanted to wear something casual and comfy. I've been wanting to wear my new vans and thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I worked around the shoes and came up with this outfit. Hopefully you guys like it!

Turning 33!

Yesterday, I was filled with so many emotions. I was sad, happy, amazed and overall blessed to have been turning 33 years old. I know people tell you "Age is nothing but a number", I get that but for some reason I was a little upset because 33 is closer to 35, and then 40 (in my mind)... but towards the end of the day, I just embraced it and kept counting my blessings. 

It was a day full of love and birthday wishes. I spent it with my loved ones and everyone made me feel so special. So far, this year, I can feel it, it's going to be an amazing year and can't wait!
