With the perfect weather (almost) always on our side, I love wearing summer dresses. I found one that is so cute and believe it or not it's been a hit even with some celebrities. When I found out it was from Old Navy, I just was in shock. Now we know, they are just like us!

Happy Earth Day!

Enough about fashion, beauty and celebrities, let's focus on the world we live in. Today is a day all about promoting awareness and appreciation of our environment, but why only a day, it should be done all the time don't you think?

We need to focus on conserving a better environment for our kids and the next generation to come. Here are a couple tips on going "green".

Tip # 1
Recycle - plastic, glass, newspaper. The money comes in handy for gas, especially now with all the high gas prices.

Tip # 2
Walk or use your bike to work, the mall or any short distance trips - One, it's an easy workout, and two, it's an easy way to releases stress.

Tip #3
Buy more non-toxic cleaning products or make your own cleaning products - you only need baking soda, vinegar, lemon and soap.

Hope you contribute in making the world a better place. Remember, a little goes a long way.

Feather & Hair

Lately I've been thinking of changing my look for something more fun and edge and this trend definitely might work. I call it a "rocker-chic" look and it also reminds of me of some kind of 70's fashion trend (not that i know, but it has a feel to it) This trend is so on point, literally!








I came across this video tutorial from a YouTube guru. Check out this video on how to put on feather extensions. It looks better using different colors and textures. Don't be afraid of trying something new.

Ever since I saw this picture online of Kourtney Kardashian, I fell in love with these shoes & of course her outfit. Her outfit screams "Spring Season". Since she is so petite she always manages to look good with anything. These sisters are seriously on their fashion game one hundred percent.




I was able to find the shoes online. They look really comfortable and are from their Kardashians by Bebe Collection.

Lulus.com Haul & Review

So I've been on an online shopping kick and found this store online that carries really cute items, Lulus.com . It was my first time buying from them so I decided to buy a few items just to test out their service and I really liked everything, from the affordable prices, customer service, to how quick the shipment was mailed to me. I definitely recommend this store to you guys. They also carry vintage items, which are hard to find available but if your lucky you can score really cute pieces.

Below are the two products I purchased. I loved how they packaged everything with their cute paper mache....

On a budget

Wouldn't you like to have all the money in the world and buy anything that money can buy?? Of course everyone would, but for those of us that have kids and have other expenses...we are always on a budget. Yeah the nicer things in life cost more but you can definitely search around for the better bargains or look your best and make it work with the knockoff versions.

For example this Proenza Schouler S1 in Leather, it costs a pretty penny and of course it's a hot item but would you pay that much money?? (maybe...lol)


Being a mom, I have to try and not just think of what I want and think of my kids and what they need. I found this cheapier knock-off version of the Proenza Schouler handbag and went with it. I bought it at Target and I love it. It was really affordable, it looks great and it comes in differenct colors, I went with the black version. I've been carrrying it all this week and have been getting compliments on it. What do you think? Would you buy it?


I know the original version is much better but just think of how much money you are saving.
