Because it's summer everyone can get away with wearing shorts not only in the day time but at night as well.  You can wear them to a dinner date with the boyfriend/hubby or even to catch a movie. They are the perfect accessory to the summer weather.

Summer Must-Have

With all the fun in the sun you'll be having this summer it's a must to carry sunglasses.  My favorite go-to sunglasses are my RayBan Aviators with the gold rim.  I carry these everywhere I go, they go great with any outfit and are so versatile.

Summer Nights

Summer is finally here....and that brings fresh summer nights that I love.  During this season I love to take our kids to the park and just enjoy nature.  The fresh air, gorgeous views and the smell of nature just makes us enjoy life even more, it's true!!

Summertime

With the perfect weather (almost) always on our side, I love wearing summer dresses. I found one that is so cute and believe it or not it's been a hit even with some celebrities. When I found out it was from Old Navy, I just was in shock. Now we know, they are just like us!

Top 5 Summer essentials

Summer, how I love this time of year. BBQ's with the family, bike riding, going to the beach having the time of our lives. I created a little list of the summer essentials I can't live without.

1. Sunblock- Always wear this before leaving the house. It reduces your risk of skin cancer and protects your skin from getting sunburn. The higher the SPF the more it protects your skin & the longer you can stay out in the sun.


2. Bathing Suit- it’s a summer must have
   
   
3. Sunglasses- My fave right now are my Ray-Ban Aviators.


4. Bike- Go green! I just purchased a bike and I love going outdoors and riding my bike. It’s a workout – sort off.
   

5. Camera- To capture the memories of your life

....and remember life is too short enjoy the time you have now and smile!

Summer beats

Lately I’ve been listening to my iPod more than usual, so I’ve been updating my iTunes playlist constantly. I’m that type of girl that listens to anything....except country music. For some reason I’m not a big fan of that kind of music. Music really defines who I am for so many reasons. When I’m down and sad I listen to R&B, love songs, when I’m happy I love to listen to upbeat songs specially when working out, it keeps me motivated and it makes me forget of what I’m doing.


It's summer and with that comes the perfect summer anthem. So far the song that best reminds me of summer right now is La Roux “Bulletproof” . I’ve memorized the lyrics and I’m constantly singing the song all the time. I’m sure I’ll eventually get bored but for now, I’m enjoying it too much!

Cute, Flirty & Affordable

What girl doesn't like to hear those three words? ......Well this goes towards the new line of nail polishes by Wet n Wild. I know what you might be thinking about that brand but compared to Opi and Essie you can buy two or three of these for the price of one of the major brands. You can find them at your local drugstores, Target and Walmart.

I bought myself the color "through the grapevine"...its a purple/pink color. It looks really cute and its perfect for summer.

The new line is suppose to last up to 5 days, but me being a mommy and doing the usually mommy tasks, it usually last about 2-3 days, which is not bad at all.......I'm excited to try the rest of the line.
