Saint Pablo Tour Experience

..........................and just like that, we are back to normal.

But last Thursday night was epic. We began with a ride to LA in traffic during rush hour. No worries, we were all hyped and just anxious to get there so we didn't mind it at all. We finally arrived and the vibe, as soon as you exit the freeway, is way different. I think in general the LA scene is way different than the OC. 

As we are walking to the Forum taking pictures the crowds were already there. We waited 2 hours before they could let us in but casually enjoyed people watching, the atmosphere and some drinks. 

Finally, they let us into the venue. We found our seats and wait another hour for the show to begin. As soon as the lights turned off that's when the entire crowd started screaming and we screamed, "MR.WEST IS IN THE BUILDING!!" 

The entire show was amazing. Like I've said it before, I've been a fan of Kanye's music, his ego and his lifestyle. I love how he's not afraid to speak his mind. Not everyone likes him but what can I say. 

Concert was an hour and a half and the entire time we were standing up dancing, singing and cheering Kanye on. It was definitely a concert I will never forget. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed with my sister, her BF and my nephew. Felt a little old, but that's okay, I'm young at heart.

The Life of Pablo in LA

Who's going to see Kanye?? 

I am, I am!!! 

My nephew and sister are going to go see Kanye's "The Life of Pablo" tomorrow.

We bought the tickets a while ago and can't believe the day is finally almost here. I have always been a fan of Kanye ever since his first LP, Through the Wire (The College Dropout). Although, let me tell you, I do miss the old Kanye. He's style of music was different but not his rants. 

Don't know what to wear but excited to get my hands on some of his merch.

Chockers everywhere

We've been seeing them around, different types of material, with pendants or simple as just a piece of fabric.

 I actually own a few and would like to add more to my collection. It's actually the best accessory to finish off a simple basic outfit.

New Skincare Products

Finally I was able to get my hands on these two items. I've been on a hunt to try out a new toner, which currently, I don't incorporate a toner in my skincare routine. My nighttime routine is, use a mask three times a week, cleanse my face, eye cream, serum and a moisturizer or beauty oil, pretty basic. 

Well let me tell you, it's been three days so far that I started using both these products and OMG, I can tell the difference already. The Sunday Riley Martian Mattifying Melting Water-Gel Toner is perfect for someone who is more oily. It removes oil, visibly reduces the appearances of pores and gives you a matte skin, which I love! Specially, when you do your makeup, you skin looks flawless. 

Second product is the Sunday Riley UFO Ultra-Clarifying Face Oil. This product I use at night as a moisturizer. Only use a couple drops and pat it on my skin. The oil is suppose to also clear the pores and smooth out fine lines. Disclaimer: The smell is a little off, but the results are amazing.

Now & Then: 90s Edition

I was having a conversation with someone this weekend and I mentioned the 90's (Circa Clueless) style is back in and they laughed. Let me tell you, I love people watching, but I do it because I get inspired by what they are wearing. I observe their jewelry, the shoes, how they style a certain pair of Jeans, the hair, that's just my mind working. 

Well at the concert this weekend, we were noticing a trend, that trend was a Flannel. Almost everyone was wearing a flannel, either they had it wrapped around their waist or they had it on top of their concert T-Shirt. 

Now, if you go out and go to the mall, the park, or something were a lot of people are going to gather around, you start noticing that I am right, the 90s are back. Have you noticed girls wearing chokers, umm hello!

Weekend Vibes!

This weekend was actually well spent. We went to a concert to see Sublime with Rome & Offspring with my husband's cousin and his girlfriend. It was a different experience but well worth it. I went with an open mind and actually enjoyed the entire concert.

We arrived one hour earlier, had couple drinks in the parking lot, took pictures (of course) and had some snacks.

A small band opened and then Offspring performed. Their entire lineup was actually better than Sublime's. Their energy was lit, literally!! Of course the mosh pits were in full force and concert goers were hyped. With every song the band played the entire crowd sure enjoyed it. 

Then finally the main band came out, Sublime with Rome. Of course I sang along to the songs I knew but even then, just went along with the flow. It's a concert, everyone was having a great time and you couldn't go wrong with dancing to the beat. 

I did take a lot of pictures but unfortunately I used snapchat, and we all know what happened next. When you are trying to take it all in, you forget what you need to capture, but hopefully you enjoy the little pictures I posted here.

Like my daughter always says when she's having a good day, "It's the best day ever!" And believe it our not, I did think that to myself at the end of the night.

Yes to Brunch!

Love being a mommy but when it comes to getting some time off from mommy duties, I'm always up for it. This weekend hubby and I went to Sunday Brunch and we enjoyed every minute of it. We had some drinks and an amazing breakfast at a local spot in our area. 

Best part of going out just the two of us, is that I love getting all dolled up and it's always nice just enjoying each other's company. Of course, when it comes to going out, I try to keep it simple, fun and flirty. My go-to's are a nice lipstick, great outfit and some flirty lashes! 

I went with 3D Mink False Lashes from Tricky Hair Extensions . The quality of the lashes feel so luxurious and go on really easily. I love how the band isn't that thick, which is a plus!! That's one of the things I look at when looking for new lash styles.
