Travel Diaries in Mexico: Buildings, Murals and things

Hi guys! Happy Thursday.

Today's post is about the amazing buildings, murals and things I saw in Mexico. So we traveled to different cities during our time in Mexico. Here is the list of the spots we traveled:

  • Tecuala, Nayarit
  • San Cayetano, Nayarit
  • Huajicori, Nayarit
  • Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco
  • Novillero, Nayarit

All these spots were local spots except for Puerto Vallarta, this was definitely filled with tourists and Americans enjoying their vacation. We noticed the prices were a little bit more than the usual other places we visited.

In Huajicori, Nayarit - we did this 12-mile walk from Acaponeta to Huajicori. This walk is done by locals to pay their thanks to this Virgen - Virgen de la Candelaria. Traditionally, you pray to the Virgen and ask for her help when in need, once that is granted on February 2, you go and say thanks wither by walk to the city or by car but everyone seems to walk to the city as a thank you. During this walk, people gather in groups, there are local vendors throughout the way and it's filled with amazing spirits and everyone is so happy and joyful. Seriously it was a great experience and so worth it.
