Poshmark Haul!

Happy Friday everyone!!! 

I'm so glad it's finally Friday. This week has been dragging but I am ecstatic it's finally come to an end and get to enjoy the weekend with family. I wanted to share with you my recent haul from Poshmark. 

We know summer is finally here and I needed to add some more summer items to my closet. I am so in love with the selections I made and was super excited when they arrived in the mail. I was hesitant at first to buy on Poshmark because it was my first time. I didn't' know what to expect but was surprised at how smooth the transaction ended up being. Once the order was placed the vendor communicated with me and the app notified me of my tracking number from point A to point B. It was the smoothest transaction ever, I definitely recommend checking it out. I also downloaded the app and received all up to date notifications. Also, the items were brand new and arrived safely and quickly to my house.

Finding your perfect shade!

As you are reading the title of this post and wondering what perfect shade is she referring to? Well, this post has to do with shades of lipsticks and finding the right one for your skin tone. 

Some of us might be afraid of trying or wearing bold lipstick colors and some of us want to try bold colors but are unsure of what goes with your skin tone. Honestly, I don't mind wearing color and my thing is any lip colors looks great as long as you wear it with confidence. Be that girl walking through the mall with that bold lipstick and not caring what people think. That is my key to success! 

Seriously, who cares. No one is going to know it's your first time wearing lipstick or that color. Just wear it! Be bold and brave! 

But if you really want to know here are some suggestions: 

• If you are yellow, golden or olive skin tone warmer shades look best. 
• If you are pink or bluish skin tone blue or purple undertones look best 
• If you are neutral skin tone almost any color but make sure it's the right shade of nude that doesn't wash you out.

Also, certain stores have tools that can help you decide on what color works best on your skin tone. For example, Sephora has a Color IQ. This little gadget is so cool and you should probably check it out!

Today I'm sharing with you guys this summer must have that I'm sure you've all seen all over Instagram and that every blogger has. It's this handbag from Cult Gaia Ark Bag in Natural color. This handbag is over $150, wow!!!!! It's made of wood and shaped in this really fun ark shaped, hence the name.

Well, I was lucky enough to find it on Poshmark for a third of a price, now this is a steal!!! Of course, it's not the original Cult Gaia handbag, but who can tell? It looks very similar to the original bag and it's just as pretty as the original one. I wore it this weekend, of course, with these high-waisted navy blue floral pants with an off-the-shoulder yellow loose top from Shein.

Bright as the Sun!

When I think about summer, I always think of bold bright colors and the color that pops in my head more and more is Yellow. This made me go through my closet and I realized I don't own many pieces in this color, which of course means shopping, duh! 

I went online and you guys all know my favorite online store, Shein!!! I know I"m always here and it's because they have affordable pieces and an extended amount of selections. It's all about being a bargain shopper.

Dinner and Drinks at Lola Gaspar!

This past weekend my girlfriends and I met up for dinner in Downtown Santa Ana to celebrate one of their birthdays. We went to this local restaurant, very intimate place and in the heart of Santa Ana's Artist Village called, Lola Gaspar. Their menu caters to everyone and their cocktails looked pretty tasty too. It was my first time actually being at this location and I really enjoyed the ambiance and food. 

We each enjoyed a glass of Sangria and also some beer to go along with our dinner.

Celebrations!

This weekend was pretty amazing. We celebrated birthdays and of course Father’s Day. I already had the perfect outfit selected for Sunday and it quickly became my new favorite two-piece set. This had heads turning and eyes looking for sure. I felt like such a celebrity! 

The skort set is from Shein, of course. It was super comfortable with the built-in shorts under the skirt. The high slit was a hit and the top was pleasantly comfortable. I love everything about it but mostly adore fact that I will be able to mix and match both pieces with other items from my closet. 

Although Sunday was super gloomy I was still able to take some great pictures for you guys.

Summer Ready!

Who is ready for Summer? The weather here in So CA has been amazing lately and it's time to showcase your summer attire. With that said, how cool is my dress from Shein.  I love the pop of color with the orange tassels and how it's fun and flirty from the back with a sexy cut-out. So perfect for summer and I can't wait to showcase more dresses like this.

My Current Nighttime Routine

Hi guys, 

Today I'm sharing with you my night time routine. I've been meaning to share this with you for a while but keep forgetting. As you know, I've super into beauty products and I love sharing with you my favorite makeup products and what not but I also love skin care products and I feel I need to share my regime on how I take care of my skin and what I use to keep me looking young, hahaha. 

Before I wouldn't wash my face and would forget to remove my makeup at night. Now, I religiously practice what I preach and almost never fall asleep with my makeup on. Doesn't matter how tired or busy I am, I always take 15-20 mins for myself at night.

I start off with a double cleanse, meaning I remove my makeup with a makeup wipe. My current favorite ones are the Kirkland brand, and these I get at Cost-co. After I wash my face with Boscia's Purifying Cleansing Gel with lukewarm water, this is the double-cleanse party. Then I go with a serum, and a serum targets a specific problem you are having and it's more effective. Currently, I'm using Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum on several of my sun spots. Not sure why they suddenly decided to come out but definitely working on them to disappear or reduce the darkness. From then on, I use my favorite oil of all time!!! I seriously love this so much and can't live without it, it's Sunday Riley's U.F.O Ultra Clarifying Face Oil. This oil has worked wonders on my skin. I know you aren't supposed to, but sometimes I pick at my face and this oil helps get rid and/or reduce the scars, clears my skin and treats my acne. You have to try it out!! Moving on, next it's an eye cream. I go back and forth with eye creams. I was using the Drunk Elephant C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream and Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb. They both target fine lines but one brightens and the other one hydrates. After all that, my last step is applying Algenist Power Recharging Night Pressed Serum, another hero product for my skin. It has reduced my fine lines and has given me a better smoother canvas to work with.

Shopping Event with the Socal Blogger Babes!

As some of you might know, I recently joined Socal Blogger Babes. This is such a big dream come true for me. I'm feeling blessed and grateful for these opportunities coming my way. 

Last night I attended my first ever event with the girls and I was finally able to meet Shelby, Allison and some of the blogger babes from the OC group. They are all so sweet and amazing. It was a great experience and what better way to bring us together than to go shopping.

From really cute beachy-nautical clothing pieces, to accessories, sunglasses, shoes, and jewelry. I couldn't decide what to get. Every corner of their store had something and their decor was also to die for. 

They treated us to champagne, cupcakes and some brownie bites, yum!
