Boating around in Style!

This past weekend we decided to rent an electric boat and ride along the Newport Beach Peninsula. It was so much fun and it was all about creating memories with the kids. Our kids loved it so much and had fun "driving" the boat with hubby's guidance of course. 

The weather was perfect and timing too. We left the marina around 4:30 pm and rode around for an hour and a half. During our tour, I enjoyed a nice glass of wine, kids and hubby snacked on some cheese, and crackers, nuts, grapes, and strawberries. It was definitely a great experience and the kids had zero complaints. It was a little chilly but the sun made it all better. 

We've done this tour a while ago with a group of friends but this time we decided to take the kids. I recommend getting a Groupon instead for a better deal and calling ahead of time to make a reservation. We booked last minute through Newport Fun Tours. 

Depending on time, I recommend taking a lightweight blanket, snacks and a camera to capture some amazing views of the ocean.
