Pineapples at the Park !

This weekend @SoCalBloggerBabes hosted a nice intimate event at the park called "Pineapples at the Park". It was a really cool event where we were able to mingle, meet other bloggers in the Orange County area and shop local vendors. They really did go out of their way to make everyone feel at home and welcoming.

They had some vendors, activities to where we were able to decorate a pineapple and make a bracelet to take home. The goodie bag was awesome too! I'm glad I was able to partake in this event and was able to enjoy it with my daughter. She loved it so much!

Sip & Shop at Tattered Trading in Long Beach

Hi Guys!! 

Yesterday @SoCalBlogger Babes and I were invited to attend a "Sip & Shop" event at Tattered Trading in Long Beach, CA.  

Traffic wasn't fun getting there but the experience made it all better. I've never been to this store before so  I was excited and ready to shop. You can buy gently used clothing pieces or even sell your clothing and get cash for it.  The owner was so nice and sweet. We were greeted with Champagne and some goodies to snack on while we shopped in-store. 

I, of course, went looking for jeans. I girl can never have too many pairs of jeans. I love me a good pair of jeans and that's exactly what I found. I also browsed around  the shoe and dresses area but didn't find anything that I liked so I headed down to the t-shirts which I was happy and found a couple t-shirts for my comfy days. I can't wait to show you guys in an outfit post soon.

 Overall, this was fun and I enjoy hanging out with my blogger babes. Had the pleasure of meeting new bloggers in the Long Beach area which was awesome. 

Thank you Tattered Trading for having us! It was a pleasure and can't wait to go back. If you are ever in the Long Beach, CA area make sure to stop by and pay them a visit. They have so many name brand labels at such good prices!

Hi Guys! 

Let's talk about when you have a dream you make it a reality. Never once doubt yourself and always be persistent. I'm trying to really practice what I preach. The old me, was so scared to come out of my shell but this year, I made a commitment to myself to just let go and do what I love. Who cares what people think or say of me or what I did. This is me.

As you know, I love to blog, I love to talk about fashion. Ever since I was a little girl, I had a dream to work in fashion, be something in that world that is so hard to achieve. Now, I have a blog and I want this little blog to grow into something big. I want to inspire women out there to be themselves and to never give up. So far, I'm working towards that and the blessings that have come my way, I truly appreciate it so much. Thank you to those that believe in me and support my crazy dreams!

Blowouts and Babes!

I had the pleasure of attending a blowout event hosted by Gold and Braid, Olaplex, Living Proof and of course SoCal Blogger Babes. It was my first ever blowout and let me tell you the experience was so relaxing and amazing. The event was held at Gold and Braid, a full service beauty salon in Mission Viejo, CA. 

My hairstylist went above and beyond going through the process. She introduced me to the products and gave me a why & how she used  the products. She applied their treatment, Olaplex Hair Perfector #3 on my hair and massaged through the scalp and strands and left for 3-5 minutes and rinsed it off. She then washed my hair with Olaplex #5 Bond Maintenance Shampoo and Olaplex #4 Bond Maintenance Conditioner. The scent on these products was so powerful and delicious. It reminded you of a spa treatment and that's exactly how I felt. I was definitely getting pampered. All of Olaplex products are meant to repair and restore damage hair. After, it was time to blow dry my hair. She applied a small amount of Living Proof's Restore Smooth Blowout Concentrate and waved it around my strands.

I was also interviewed by Olaplex en Espanol. This was my very first interview and I was so nervous but I think I did pretty good. JCarlos from Olaplex was so friendly and guided me throughout the interview. 

Overall the experience was amazing. I'm feeling so lucky and blessed to have attended this event and leave with a goodie bag of these items to use at home.

New July Favorites !

Hi Guys, 

A quick post about some new beauty items I've been obsessed with. It's only three items but I have to rave about them!  

I recently rediscovered this lipgloss from my makeup drawer. It's an oldie product but I haven't stopped wearing it recently. This was a ColourPop x IluvSarahii Collaboration a while back. It's the perfect nude lipgloss without being so tacky and washing me out. It's in the Shade CurvII. 

And now, the most recent items that have joined my family are these two items. One is the Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Longwear lipstick in Shade Sunday Funday and second is this Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Duo in Shade Sand Castle and Mint'd Mojito. This highlighter duo is so pigmented, you can see it a mile away!!! I'm serious. 

It's never too much makeup you can own!

Tasting at Taco Brat and OOTD!

First of all, how cute is my outfit? 

I wore this Shein Mesh Panel Velvet Top from Shein paired with white jeans from Aeropostale. This top had a nice cut-out with mesh material and it was super comfortable. It's true to size and the material is velvet, which is so on trend right now! It was the perfect outfit for a tasting I attended.

Yesterday, my SoCal blogger babes and I had the pleasure to attend a tasting at Taco Brat. It's a nice quaint taco shop in Costa Mesa, CA. It's not a typical taco shop, it's where tacos and sausages come together. They have so many delicious menu items, you won't be able to choose just one. The chef and staff brought us a variety of their best menu items, and guys, they are super tasty and full of yummy goodness.

Celebrating our 15 yr Wedding Anniversary!

On Friday night my husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary. This year marks 15 years of marriage. It's so crazy to just say it out loud. I'm unbelievably grateful for all these years of marriage. Trust me, it's not easy but we strive to make this marriage work with lots of love, communication, and patience. We were so young when we vowed to one another and now 15 years later.... Three kids, two dogs, here we are celebrating. 
Cheers to that!!

We decided to celebrate by planning a date night and have dinner at Orange County Mining Co. It was our first time and we were so excited. I've heard the view was going to be amazing and definitely was.
